  1. This entertaining movie crosses the sports barrier so that the baseball aficionado and the non-baseball fan will both be in the game. Brad Pitt and his numbers crunching assistant (Johah Hill) run the Oakland A’s with a think out of the box style that creates tension and success, a style that is the only choice they seem to have. True baseball fans will be able to read between the lines to gain an understanding of how Billy Bean (Pitt) felt he could create a competitive team in a different way than what is used by the old school baseball establishment.
